Meet Your Instructors
Julian Reynoso, RN, brings his clinical experience and passion for teaching into the classroom, helping students build strong skills and prepare for state certification. As an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, he also provides essential lifesaving training. Having progressed from CNA to RN himself, Julian is dedicated to mentoring students and showing them the many career paths that begin with becoming a CNA.
Melanie Maldonado, RN, has been an RN for 22 years working in hospitals, home health, psych, local schools, and LTC! She has always loved educating others whether it was patients, family members, new nurses, or anyone who wanted to learn something new. To her it is both a privilege and an honor to teach others on how to become the most vital members in nursing facilities, which are CNAs! Her students become a team, and she is someone they can count on during and after class because support after graduation is just as important as everything taught in class.
Celeste Aviles, RN, BSN, serves as a Regional Nurse Aide Educator for the Beachwood and Dayton districts and has been with Saber Health for two years. She brings over 37 years of nursing and long-term care experience, including 15 years in healthcare education and workforce development, partnering with University Hospitals to train employees in multiple clinical roles. Fluent in Spanish, Celeste received the 2022 Top Nurse Educator Award for Excellence in Nursing Education. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, traveling, and motorcycle riding.
Samla Chillis, BSN, RN has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and more than a decade in leadership as a Regional Director of Clinical Services, she brings extensive clinical expertise and strong leadership to her role.
She is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring individuals pursuing careers in healthcare.

Melissa Hrabovsky, RN, BSN, MSN, She began her nursing career in 2011 as a Certified Nurse Aide. She graduated from nursing school as a Registered Nurse and went on to earn both her BSN and MSN in Nursing Management and Leadership. Her diverse nursing background includes long-term care, acute care, cardiology, and pediatrics. Before returning to long-term care, she worked as a Nurse Aide Evaluator, traveling throughout Pennsylvania to assist nurse aide graduates during their state examinations.
This role was especially rewarding, as it inspired her to support students who struggled with their skills exams. That experience led her to teaching CNA courses, where she discovered her true calling educating and empowering future healthcare professionals!
Deborah Holdeman RN Educator for Tremont Health and Rehab Center. She started her nursing career at age 15 as a candy striper! She has been teaching for over 25 years, and plans on continuing into retirement!
Her philosophy is that supporting and developing future nurses in any role starts at the foundation, which is the certified nurse aide role. She always approaches learning with a positive attitude to teach students that they can do this, if they have the compassion to help others, it means so much to her to assist the nursing profession.
Susan Carpenter, RN, is a Regional Registered Nurse Aide Educator with over 30 years of nursing experience, including 15 years in long-term care and staff education, and has formerly served as a Director of Nursing. She currently serves as the Saber CNA Program Director and primary instructor for the Cleveland, Akron, and Dayton districts.
