Make Your Time Work for You
You can't always control how much lands on your plate. But you can get better at deciding what deserves your attention first.
Try it today:
Before you start your day, choose your Top 3 priorities.
Not 15.
Three!

A Few Things That Can Make Your Day Easier
Start With the Hard Thing
If you have a task you've been avoiding, try tackling it when your energy is highest. Getting it off your mind can create momentum for the rest of the day.
Protect Your Focus
Notifications, emails, and constant interruptions add up. When you can, create short periods where you can focus without distractions.
Set Realistic Goals
You don't have to finish everything today. Break bigger tasks into smaller steps and focus on what you can realistically accomplish.
Progress > Perfect
If you have a task you've been avoiding, try tackling it when your energy is highest. Getting it off your mind can create momentum for the rest of the day.
You Don't Have to Do It Perfectly
Perfectionism can make even simple things feel harder than they need to be.
Sometimes we spend so much time trying to get something exactly right that we lose time, energy, and momentum.
Try asking yourself:
“Does this need to be perfect or does it just need to be done well?”
Try This Instead
✓ Set realistic expectations
✓ Give yourself permission to make mistakes
✓ Focus on progress
✓ Celebrate completed tasks
✓ Come back and improve things when needed
Progress is still progress.
You Can Say No Without Being Difficult
Being helpful is a great quality.
But saying yes to everything can leave you overwhelmed, stretched too thin, and unable to give your best to the things that really matter.
Setting a boundary doesn't mean you don't care.
AT WORK
“I'd like to help, but I'm focused on a deadline right now. Can we revisit this next week?”
"I'd love to help, but I need to finish a few priorities first."
"I don't have the capacity to take that on right now, but I can help brainstorm a solution."
"I want to make sure I can give this the attention it deserves, so I need to pass this time."
WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS
"Thanks for thinking of me, but I need a quiet night at home."
"I can't make it this time, but I'd love to catch up soon."
"I wish I could help, but I already have plans I need to stick to."
WHEN YOU NEED TIME TO THINK
"Can I think about it and let you know tomorrow?"
"I don't want to commit before checking a few things first."
"Let me take a look at my schedule and get back to you."
A thoughtful “not right now” is better than an overwhelmed “yes.”
Need a Quick Reset?
You don't always need a lot of time to reset. Sometimes, all it takes is five minutes. A short break can help you recharge and refocus.
Box Breathing
Inhale for 4. Hold for 4. Exhale for 4. Hold for 4.
Try it for one minute and notice how your body feels.
Take a Device-Free Walk
Step away from your screen and take a short walk without your phone.
A few minutes of fresh air can help clear your mind and boost your mood.
Move Your Body
Roll your shoulders. Stretch your arms. Move your neck gently.
Small movements can release tension and help you feel more energized.
Change Your Environment
Step outside. Get some water. Move to a different space.
A quick change of scenery can help refresh your focus and perspective.

Work-Life Well-Being Doesn't Mean Perfect Balance
Some days work needs more of you

Balance doesn't always mean giving everything equal time. Sometimes, it means paying attention to what matters most in the moment and giving yourself permission to adjust when needed.
WORK
Do what needs to be done.
HOME
Make space for the people and things that matter.
YOU
Don't forget that you belong on your own priority list.
